Cookies
We use so-called cookies on our site to recognize multiple use of our offer by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores on your computer. They serve to optimize our internet presence and our offers. These are mostly so-called "session cookies", which are deleted after the end of your visit.
However, some of these cookies provide information to automatically recognize you again. This recognition is based on the IP address stored in the cookies. The information obtained in this way is used to optimise our offers and to make it easier for you to access our site.
You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent.

Server data
For technical reasons, the following data, among others, which your Internet browser transmits to us or to our web space provider, are recorded (so-called server log files):

- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Website from which you visit us (referrer URL)
- Website you visit
- Date and time of your access
- Your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and therefore does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. They are evaluated for statistical purposes in order to be able to optimise our Internet presence and our offers.

On our site we offer you the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter. With this newsletter we inform you about our offers in regular intervals. To receive our newsletter, you need a valid e-mail address. We will check the e-mail address you have entered to ensure that you are the actual owner of the e-mail address or that the owner is authorized to receive the newsletter. With your registration to our newsletter we will save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This serves as a safeguard for us in the event that a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your knowledge. We do not collect any other data. The data collected in this way is used exclusively for the subscription to our newsletter. It will not be passed on to third parties. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site is also not carried out. You can cancel your subscription to this newsletter at any time. Details can be found in the confirmation e-mail and in each individual newsletter. Contact usWe offer you the opportunity on our site to contact us by e-mail and/or via a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user will be stored for the purpose of processing his contact. A passing on to third parties does not take place. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our site is also not carried out.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymization function
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of the company Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as "Google" on our website. Google-Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and thereby enable an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by these cookies, for example the time, place and frequency of your website visit including your IP address, is transferred to Google in the USA and stored there.
We use Google Analytics with an IP anonymisation function on our website. In this case, your IP address is already shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and is thus anonymised.
Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for us and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
Google will, according to its own information, under no circumstances connect your IP address with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website.
Furthermore, Google offers a deactivation option for the most common browsers, which gives you more control over which data is collected and processed by Google. If you activate this option, no information about your website visit will be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, activation does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services that we may use. For more information about the deactivation option provided by Google and how to activate this option, please click on the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

Use of Google Maps
We use on our site the component "Google Maps" of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google".
Each time the "Google Maps" component is called up, Google sets a cookie in order to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the "Google Maps" component is integrated. This cookie is usually not deleted when the browser is closed, but expires after a certain time, unless you delete it manually beforehand.
If you do not agree with this processing of your data, there is the possibility to deactivate the service of "Google Maps" and thus prevent the transmission of data to Google. To do so, you must deactivate the Java-Script function in your browser. We would like to point out, however, that in this case you will not be able to use "Google Maps", or only to a limited extent.
The use of "Google Maps" and the information obtained via "Google Maps" is in accordance with the Google Terms of Use
http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html
and the additional terms and conditions for "Google Maps
https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

Use of facebook components
We use components of the provider facebook.com on our site. Facebook is a service of facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
Whenever you visit our website, which is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you use to download a corresponding representation of the component from facebook. This process informs facebook about which specific page of our website you are currently visiting.
If you call up our page and are logged on to facebook during this time, facebook recognizes which specific page you are visiting through the information collected by the component and assigns this information to your personal account on facebook. For example, if you click on the "Like" button or make corresponding comments, this information is transmitted to your personal user account on facebook and stored there. In addition, the information that you have visited our site is passed on to facebook. This happens regardless of whether you click on the component or not.
If you want to prevent this transmission and storage of data about you and your behavior on our website by facebook, you must log out of facebook and before you visit our site. The privacy policy of facebook provides more detailed information on this, in particular on the collection and use of data by facebook, on your rights in this regard and on the setting options for protecting your privacy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/
An overview of the Facebook plugins can be found at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

Use of the Twitter recommendation components
We use components of the provider Twitter on our site. Twitter is a service of Twitter Inc, 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.
Each time you access our website that is equipped with such a component, this component causes the browser you are using to download a corresponding display of the component from Twitter. This process informs Twitter about which specific page of our website is currently being visited.
We have no influence on the data that Twitter collects through this process, nor on the scope of this data collected by Twitter. To the best of our knowledge, Twitter collects the URL of the respective website visited as well as the IP address of the user, but does not use it for any other purpose than to display the Twitter component. Further information on this can be found in the Twitter privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy.
You can change your privacy settings in the account settings at http://twitter.com/account/settings.

Use of Google-Adwords
We also use the Google advertising tool "Google-Adwords" to promote our website. Within the scope of this, we use the "Conversion Tracking" analysis service of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter "Google". If you have reached our website via a Google ad, a cookie will be placed on your computer. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser places and saves on your computer. These so-called "conversion cookies" lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for your personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google can recognize that you as a user clicked on one of our ads placed at Google and were redirected to our site.
The information collected through the "conversion cookies" is used by Google to compile visit statistics for our site. These statistics tell us the total number of users who clicked on our ads and which pages of our site were subsequently visited by each user. However, we or others who advertise via "Google Adwords" do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
You can prevent the installation of "conversion cookies" by adjusting your browser settings accordingly, for example by changing your browser settings to generally disable the automatic setting of cookies or specifically block only cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com".
You can obtain the relevant Google privacy policy from the following link: https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html

Use of Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense on our website. Google AdSense is a service of the company Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, for the integration of advertisements. Google AdSense uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of the use of our website. Google AdSense also uses so-called web beacons. Through these web beacons, Google is able to evaluate information such as the flow of visitors to our site. This information, in addition to your IP address and the acquisition of the advertising formats displayed, is transmitted to Google in the USA, where it is stored and can be passed on by Google to contractual partners. However, Google does not combine your IP address with other data stored about you. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. By using our website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purpose described above.

Use of Mailchimp
The newsletters are sent via "MailChimp", a newsletter dispatch platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore MailChimp may use this data according to its own information to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimization of sending and presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to contact them itself or pass them on to third parties.

The privacy policy of MailChimp can be found here:https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy

Statistical survey and analyses

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file which is retrieved from the server of MailChimp when the newsletter is opened. In the context of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined by means of the IP address) or the access times.

Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor MailChimp's intention to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our contents to them or to send different contents according to the interests of our users.
